Broker Support, Reinsurance Solutions

What the day will look like

  • Responsible for the preparation and analysis of Treaty data & underwriting information for the production of contractual documents including but not limited to slips, cover notes, wordings, endorsements and addendums

  • Supporting brokers on daily, renewal and during tender preparation that included corresponding to reinsurers, clients and internal stakeholders

  • Preparation and technical analysis of statistics and other underwriting information supporting the negotiation and placement of Treaty business by the broking team

  • Preparing required documents such as: information pack, draft slips, quote sheets, market placement sheets and special acceptances.

  • Preparation of summary term sheets, Treaty programme structure charts. Maintenance of placement correspondence/ documents

  • Ensure the optimum use of Aon’s business systems in line with current Aon business practices.

  • Support brokers in their follow-up communications with clients and reinsurers

  • Preparing some analysis on submitted data, market and external data.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • University graduate

  • 1-3 years of working experience in insurance broker, general insurance or life insurance company in the area of underwriting, broking, policy processing, accounting or reinsurance.

  • Knowledge of treaty reinsurance accounting

  • Computer skills in MS Office suites

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer care and communication skills

  • Good command of both spoken and written English
