Job Summary – (Role Summary)

Overall responsibility & accountability

The role of the Marketing and Communications Manager role is operational and hands‐on:

• The Director of PR and MARCOM and Director of Sales & Marketing will drive the overall Public Relation and Communications Strategy for InterContinental Hua Hin Resort and the Assistant PR and MARCOM will assist in its formulation.

• The Assistant PR & MARCOM will, on the basis of the agreed strategy, devise and be responsible for the delivery of the Annual PR and Marketing & Communications Plan. This will include plans for the PR and marketing and communications budget, demonstrating value for money and return on investment.

• The Assistant PR & MARCOM will also assists and support the Director of PR and MARCOM and Director of Sales and Marketing in achieving the Brand and Resort positioning objectives locally and internationally through Public Relations and Communication activities

Required Skills –

Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.

• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

• Good writing skills

Qualifications –

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications or related field.

Experience –

• 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
