Emerson Senior / Flow Service Engineer in Singapore

Job Summary

If you are a Service professional looking to grow your career in Field Servicing, then Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in Singapore, the Senior / Flow Service Engineer will support the commissioning, troubleshooting, configuring & repairing of flowmeters and other Emerson measurement products.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide remote and onsite support for the start-up & commissioning of critical measurement systems & products and general fault finding related to customer process issues, including site visits for data collection.

  • Perform on-site preventive maintenance and verification of flowmeters.

  • Provide technical support and presales support to Sales Team & customers.

  • To assist and support in the Service Business growth by promoting Training, Service Center Repairs, Commissioning and Maintenance Contract.

  • To complete required documentation for service activities such as field service, Commissioning and Calibration reports by required deadlines.

  • Support Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance test.

  • Provide technical assistance and other duties assigned by supervisor.

  • Be able and willing to perform emergency call-out services to provide customers with fast and efficient services.

  • Execute the requested job in the best way to meet customer’s deadlines and expectations.

  • Keep workshop/workplace(s) tidy, in order and representative.

  • Ensure all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 3 years of working within a Field Service Engineer position with demonstrable experience of in the instrumentation field, particularly in site commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of flow products and other field instruments.

  • Experience with Flowmeters, pressure, level and temperature transmitters.

  • Fast learner and know-how attitude in resolving issues.

  • Customer orientated, self-directed and ability to multitask between various service assignments.

  • Strong knowledge on flow instruments and flow system.

  • Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

  • Competent in MS Office suite.

  • Good written and verbal English skills.

  • Resourceful and self-motivated with high degrees of integrity.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and teamwork skill required.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Degree /Diploma in Instrumentation /Electronics /Mechatronic Engineering
