IHG Human Resources Executive / Coordinator - Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay in Singapore

Your day-to-day

Financial returns

  • Administer Purchase Plus for regular purchase of office and hotel supplies.

  • Ensure all the cheque/invoices received are recorded.

  • Track and maintain personal files of candidates. Ensures that all filing system is organized, maintained and up-to-date.

  • Provides day-to-day administrative support, including HR correspondence, processing of invoices, etc.

People

  • First point of contact for all team members in relation to human resources function and queries. Answers general employee questions about HR processes and procedures.

  • Assist in the recruitment, resourcing and reference checking of all new team members.

  • Coordinate both internal and external training programs and send relevant employees for training.

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times on all matters pertaining to team members.

  • Champion and initiate Employee Engagement activities.

Guest Experience

  • Adheres to Brand standards for Holiday Inn Express, at all times and encourages others to do the same.

  • Acts as a BrandHearted ambassador for the hotel.

  • Regular updating of notice boards & Room to Grow Training Calendar.

  • Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

  • Adheres to Brand standards for Holiday Inn Express, at all times and encourages others to do the same.

  • Acts as a BrandHearted ambassador for the hotel.

Responsible Business

  • Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.

  • Familiarise with emergency and evacuation procedures.

  • Maintain current information and records of suppliers of training resources and materials.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, policies and procedures.

  • Performs any other duties as required in the operation to effectively run the hotel.

  • Assist to submit Team Member’s accident report (if any) to Ministry of Manpower promptly.
