V2X Airfield Driving Program Technician in Qatar

Overview

The Airfield Driving Program Technician is responsible for providing Airfield driving training to military and contract members in accordance with AFI 13-213 and 379 AEWI 13-213.

Responsibilities

  • Shall perform Airfield driving training in accordance with the performance work statement with zero discrepancies in scheduling personnel needing training within the required time frame.

  • Shall ensure all personnel who attend flight line training are properly trained and do not violate CMA rules.

  • Shall submit weekly report of all training activity IAW the PWS.

  • Responsible for following a comprehensive safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.

  • Responsible for following a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.

  • Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).

  • Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Licensed Airfield Driver

  • Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport and State Class A Driver’s License.

  • Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.

  • Must obtain and maintain an Air Force flight line driving certification prior to FOC start date of this task order.

  • Must pass a flight line access test and obtain flight line access badge prior to FOC start date of task order.

  • Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.

  • Candidates must successfully complete both online and hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defense training. Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD provided protective gear.

  • Experience:

  • Shall have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a licensed airfield driver and no previous record of revocations.

  • Must be able to pass the Controlled Movement Area requirements and maintain the CMA license.

  • Must be able to clearly communicate and operate computer systems and applications for training large groups of personnel.
