SunPower Associate, Legal Operations in Philippines

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The position will support the legal team to assist in the day to day transactions of our internal e-billing and matter management systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitoring of legal e-billing and matter management systems, Simple Legal and Legal Tracker.

  • Monitoring of legal billings including invoice reviews, approval and validations

  • PR/PO creations in Oracle and resolutions for legal bills

  • Assist in the month end and quarterly financial closings through analysis of unbilled fees and invoice movements

  • Follow up with outside vendors/legal firms for enrollment, scope of work contracts, monthly accrual reporting

  • Assist in the migration implementation of data from Legal Tracker to Simple Legal

  • Support ad hoc activities of the legal attorneys

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Educational: Bachelor’s or College Degree

  • Knowledgeable of AP functionalities, legal tools and billing process

  • Skills and Competencies: Good in oral and written communication skills

  • IT Tools: high proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel

  • Oracle knowledge is a plus

  • This is a Project Based position.

  • Candidate must be willing to work in Binan Laguna

  • Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the Philippines.

  • Candidate must be willing to render overtime as business requires (weekends, US/PH holidays)

  • Candidate must be flexible to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region.

  • Candidate will be on flexible work arrangement (combination of onsite and remote work) (if applicable depending on the nature of the job)

  • Tool of Trade: Laptop/Desktop, Extended Monitor, Headset (as needed)
