Job Description:

Ensures that the construction, erection, installation and repair are based on industry standards and code. Studies blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required. Such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated. May verify treuness of structure with plumb bob and carpenter’s level. May help and advise in the process of framework erection for structures and laying of the sub-flooring.

Superintendent – Possesses all of the foreman skills, having verifiable minimum experience and/or holds an accepted certification, license and/or degree in a specific craft. Usually considered the most experienced, highest skilled professional in their respective field and possesses very good supervisory skills. Provides supervision for multiple craft crews. Requires no supervision.

As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
