Account Manager

Position Summary

You’ll be responsible for more than just selling. From fostering strong, meaningful relationships with our customers to creatively solving problems with innovative solutions to managing the sales strategy, you’ll partner with our customers to ensure they have the right equipment to provide the best care to their patients each day.

Area to cover: Toscana - Emilia Romagna- Umbria- Liguria

Preferred candidate's location is Toscana or Emilia Romagna.

What you will do:

  • Promote product portfolio, negotiate contracts and close sales in order to achieve and exceed the monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Delivery of portfolio presentation and demonstrations

  • Create develop and maintain profitable business relationships.

  • Enter on a daily base all activities, opportunities, and related information into the CRM.

  • Ensure all reporting and forecasting is completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.

  • Monitor performance and devise corrective action plans with Country Manager where necessary.

  • Develop account plans to grow account knowledge and maximize business.

  • Ensure thorough knowledge of entire Anatomical Pathology product range and services.

  • Develop a high level of territory knowledge, enabling existing and new customer account growth and development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical Qualification, Degree, or equivalent, in Laboratory Medicine, Biology or Biotechnology.

  • An understanding of the workflow used in a histopathology/cytology laboratory

  • Proven successful Sales experience in a similar market environment

  • Good knowledge of English, both oral and written

  • Clean Driving License

  • Ability to travel 75% in Italy, occasional European travels
