What you will do:

In this role you will...

• Understand the requirement and implement software applications as per the design.

• Enhance the products QueryGrid and DataMover to support increased ecosystem on the cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Design, develop and execute QA automation using a variety of technologies.

• Ensure software deployments meet all pre-defined requirements and are entirely functional upon release.

• Work closely with developers and product owners to ensure timely delivery of the features.

Teradata QueryGrid and DataMover team intersects all our analytic technologies in order to help Teradata VantageCloud Lake extend its traditional Data Warehouse lead along with integrating the best data sources and analytic engines available into a common Analytical Ecosystem where the data lives and moves seamlessly through the environment for analytic processing. Be at the forefront of this Big Data Evolution and help Teradata solve the biggest and hardest data management challenges from many of the largest companies in the world to easily leverage big data for big ideas. What makes you a qualified candidate:

• At least 5+ years of hands-on software development experience and 2+ years of experience with designing, building Software systems on any Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Demonstrated proficiency with at least one modern general-purpose programming languages like Java, Go, C++, Python, etc.

• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.

What you will bring:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge on Linux, Shell scripting, SQL, Git, Jira.

• Knowledge on more than one public clouds.

• Familiarity with DevOps software development methods.

• Experience with Teradata or any other RDMS systems.
