Shape the future of the Internet

You'll play an integral part in the sales lifecycle, supporting Sales in defining Akamai Cloud Computing solutions. You'll guide customers through the strategic and technical aspects of their Cloud transformation journey. In addition, you'll also be the thought-leader in cloud computing both outside and within Akamai.

As a Senior Technical Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting Akamai Cloud Computing opportunities in EMEA as a Pre-Sales technology specialist and technical escalation point.

• Driving new customer acquisition, support sales and marketing go-to-market initiatives. Direct customer engagement is required.

• Leading solution and product innovation initiatives. Evangelizing local use cases/technology trends and influencing the product roadmap.

• Building technical thought-leadership in Akamai Cloud Computing to support overall Akamai business growth.

• Contributing to Pre-Sales SME enablement groups on Akamai Cloud Computing and public cloud technology stack.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience working in a customer facing technical role with a public cloud or cloud software company,

• Possess multiple certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure.

• Demonstrate experience designing, developing, or maintaining multi-tier distributed application architectures including cloud-native, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud.

• Demonstrate problem solving skills, with the ability to create clarity from highly ambiguous customer requirements.

• Have experience solving business and technical problems through active listening/clarifying structured analytical and creative thinking.
