The Foundations teams at eero are responsible for maintaining, scaling, and developing distributed systems critical to our operations, developing data services that handle fleet analytics and business metrics, and creating reusable tools and components that enable the rest of the organization to build scalable, secure, and reliable software.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop reusable software and infrastructure components for third party integrations

  • Write extensible APIs for partner teams and external clients to consume

  • Lead and participate in design reviews for large-scale software architecture

  • Create tools and automation to eliminate manual work

  • Participate in an on-call rotation and work to ensure that cloud services are operationally sound

About the team

We are a customer focused team that wants to make building and maintaining great software as easy as possible. We work with teams building services, mobile apps, and embedded software to make sure the eero ecosystem is as reliable and efficient as possible.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
