Oracle Delivery Consultant in Brazil

Job Description

Collaborating with the Managing Principal Consultant, the successful candidate will be responsible for develop integrations on cloud and on-premise implementations, covering products such as OIC, VBCS or SOA, ensuring the solutions proposed function technically.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a skilled technical consultant with some experience on Cloud IaaS or PaaS projects together with experience on multiple Oracle Utilities projects, or the underlying components of its technical stack.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in large-scale IT implementations within the utility industry, gained within a utility and/or major consulting organization as a MDM, C2M, MWM or CCB technical architect

  • Have proficiency in English and upper-intermediate level in Spanish.

  • Awareness of the broad Oracle Utilities Applications suite of products

  • Be able to demonstrate operational skills in Oracle technology products such as Oracle Integration Cloud Services, Fusion Middleware, SOA and Oracle Enterprise Manager

  • Have high levels of organization, determination and focus

  • Possess excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills

  • Experience on Integration technologies - SOA, OIC or equivalent

  • Awareness of the OCI

  • Ability to travel for 100% of assignments to any destination is a key requirement of the role

  • While the initial project will based on Brazil, the candidate must have the ability to travel for assignments to any destination overseas in the future.

  • A passion for creative problem solving and innovation, and a shown ability to turn ideas into actions and work you're doing

  • Excellent people skills and an ability to engage at all levels with researchers, with a genuine enthusiasm for OCI services and advanced database technologies

  • Strong written, oral and visual interpersonal skills; validated experience articulating complex research and technical problems in ways that can be understood and appreciated by non-experts

  • The ability to learn quickly, engage optimally in multiple projects simultaneously, and adjust priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization

  • A science degree; research experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Crucial Job Functions:

  • Be an onsite / remote developer working on offshore team to accomplish activities

  • Configure and operate product stack.

  • Technical Liaison with Client, Project Management and Oracle Utilities Product Group

  • Develop detailed specifications including; logical and physical diagrams or blueprints, application configuration and requirements.

  • Help other oracle resources and guide them as per project needs.

  • Identify potential risk and problem areas and develop procedures that provide effective workarounds to the problem at hand.

  • Investigate production issues related to performance, code, infrastructure

  • Gives estimation of work and collaborates with project managers to estimate and plan technical work

  • Works with peers and a matrix of other team members in the business unit to improve products and services delivery and to expand the capabilities of services provided to Oracle customers.
