Ford Motor Company AU Warehouse Supervisor in Australia

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage multi areas across the warehouse including Inbound, Outbound, Import and Export areas at our Australian Parts and Distibution Centre, Merrifield. The role is based onsite to oversee the day to day running of the warehouse and support hourly personnel. This role will report drectly into the Warehouse Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Promote continuous OH&S practices and principles. Ensuring good housekeeping principals are maintained and regular daily safety walks and inspections are performed.

  • Supervise / Manage hourly Labour:

  • Return to work of injured employees

  • Daily time keeping completed

  • Promote and develop multi-skilling and people development

  • Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity

  • Ensure that daily operational targets & schedules are achieved

  • Manage the total cost of the area under your control

  • Identify process improvement opportunities

  • Maintain / Improve Safety culture and performance in the warehouse

  • Improve & develop the customer mindset and overall customer satisfaction

  • Reduce cost expenditure

  • Seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve process efficiency and productivity
