Virginia Beach area-based electromechanical enclosure manufacturer (sheet metal based) targeting a Production Lead to focus on overseeing the manufacturing processes, procedures, safety as well as group supervision. The production lead should have an understanding of team leadership in a high-volume production environment. Excellent opportunity to get into a quickly growing organization! responsibilities:

• Supervise a group of production workers; using leadership skills to coach and counsel employees to maximize their success.

• Oversee the manufacturing processes and procedures in factory production operations, which may be in the areas of metal fabrication, welding, and/or electrical assembly.

• Evaluate each step of the production process to maintain optimum efficiency.

• Enforce all safety policies on the production floor.

• Creating and overseeing employee training to increase production and ensure safe operations.

• Inspect products for quality and accuracy prior to shipping; must incorporate and maintain emphasis in quality during ASC's manufacturing process.

• Participate and/or leading continuous improvement activities.
