Responsibilities

The R&M Manager is responsible for the management of the R&M Facilities (Plants) in Mexico, including providing overall direction, coordination and evaluation of all Quality, Safety, direct and support employees at the facility.

The R&M Manager will also be responsible for achieving the Key Performance Indicators and Objectives defined for the Plants in order to satisfy the demand. This will be accomplished through the development and implementation of cost-effective R&M processes and methods, delivering, and granting tool/product specifications and quality standards ensuring HSE compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE • Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company’s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Company’s IOGP Life saving rules. • Places Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk. • Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations. • Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.

QUALITY • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System • Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement. • Effectively manage cross functional relationships with other departments to support effective use of manpower, materials, and equipment, as well as productivity and quality improvement initiatives • Responsible for implementing the strategy and overall planning of the facility’s operations to ensure continued success in meeting customer expectation. • Interface with Company engineers, strategic sourcing, project management, human resources, logistics, customer service, and accounting personnel regarding facility issues, process optimization, methods development, personnel development, outside supplier development, strategic project implementation, quotes, and order management, and for analyzing and preparing monthly financial reporting presentations. • Oversee, review and authorize workload demand, forecast of spare parts, R&M cost forecast (Plan for every Part). • Develop and implement improvements to productivity, cost reduction and inventory management, including evaluating and maintaining appropriate levels of inventory while responsible for on-time shipment. • Support the implementation and sustaining efforts to promote and execute new techniques and products, purchase and use of new machinery or equipment and optimize staff level. • Collaborate with HSE to understand, comply, and drive safety and environmental requirements/standards and company policies of Weatherford. • Responsible for the executions of continuous improvement activities ensuring that lean concepts are incorporated into the design and build of the R&M facility/plant locations which will drive continuous improvement within R&M operations. • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

COMMUNICATION • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external. • Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to their reports.

FINANCIAL • All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses. • Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure. • Effectively manage routine maintenance projects to include establishing operating budgets, cost justification, quoting equipment and contractors, maintaining records, executing deliverables, meeting time and cost restraints • Oversee budget for operating costs and reviews and controls expenditures at the facility to ensure the facility’s expenditures remain within annual budget. • Leads, mentors, and provides supervision for the R&M employees, as well as other facility personnel responsible for personnel management; plan for personnel changes, forecast changes in personnel levels, source local recruits. • Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives, and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential. • Supervisors are expected to actively engaging their employees to support talent management through Weatherford’s performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities. • Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personal & to foster an environment that supports the attraction & retention of a high performing talented workforce.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent to 10+ years of experience related to R&M, manufacturing, particularly in oilfield applications. • 5-8 years min experience in a manufacturing or R&M setting with hands on involvement in leading productivity improvement via setup reduction, tooling improvements, etc. • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with multiple direct reports • Legally authorized to work in assigned location. • Fundamental Lean Training and background knowledge of lean principles preferred. • Strong understanding and experience in the oil & gas industry • Experience working in a multi-product line plant serving international customers. • Ability to interact in language relevant in local plant.

• Fully burdened model experience with full financial accountability.

• Multi plant management experience with direct/indirect reports (+100)
