DIS is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Strategic Communications and Integrated Marketing practice. The right individual has a strong background in requirements gathering for SharePoint solutions, sequencing and scheduling SharePoint development tasks (creating work plans), and creating documentation for SharePoint projects, including Business Requirements Documents, User Acceptance Testing Scripts, Technical Documentation, Data Dictionaries, etc. The right candidate can also wireframe and mock up potential solutions for customers and the development team.

Essential Duties

  • Lead requirement gathering calls with customers for SharePoint solutions.
  • Translate customer business needs into technical requirements and create related documentation (business requirements document).
  • Create work plans and schedules for SharePoint development projects and keep the development team on schedule, coordinating team activities across multiple, simultaneousdevelopment projects.
  • Develop wireframes andmockupsfor proposed SharePoint solutions in collaboration with the development team.
  • Coordinate and develop technical documentation,useracceptancetest scripts, and user guides in collaboration with the development team.
  • Providehands-on, technical leadership.
  • GuideSharePoint development projectsfrominceptionto completion, ensuring quality control and consistency onall final solutions and related documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to accessibility laws prior to client delivery.
  • Think critically and apply customer and industry insight to solve client problems creatively and quickly.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor'sdegreein information technology, business,orarelated discipline
  • A minimum of eight (8) yearsof business analystexperience with 3 yearsofrecent experience in leading SharePoint (PowerApps) design project efforts for a federal government agency or private sector entity
  • A minimum of five (5) years in performing requirements gathering and documentation
  • A minimum of five (5) experience in using Lean, Lean Six,and/or Six Sigma lifecycle
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in creating wireframes as well as visual design comps
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical writing, including writing technical documentation, including business requirements documents, user acceptance test scripts, technical documents, data dictionaries, user stories, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge ofAdobe Creative Suite or similar tools used for wireframing and compdevelopment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint,Exceland Visio
  • Strong oral communication and presentation skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, able tolead andwork in acollaborative, remoteteamsetting
  • Ability to organize, coordinate, and deliver multiple complex projects/priorities?and keep them on deadline
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence

  • Ability to obtain a US government security clearance?
  • Preference will be given to qualified Veteran candidates

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Section 508 compliance experience
  • Government consulting or contract experience

Salary is commensurate with experience.
