FedWriters FOIA Administrator (Secret Clearance) in Vienna, Virginia

Job Title: FOIA Administrator

Job Summary:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Following technical direction from FinCEN Program Manager and COR
  • Establishing and maintaining a variety of files
  • Responding to technical inquiries
  • Tracking, monitoring, and following up on FOIA inquiries
  • Data entry

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Secret Clearance
  • Basic understanding of the Federal FOIA program
  • Prior experience with FOIA resources/programs
  • Experience with office software and equipment, such as copiers and scanners
  • Ability to work in a team environment with internal and external officials
  • Ability to establish records files in systems
  • Ability to explain statistical data concerning the FOIA program
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Minimum of a high school Diploma
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree

Work Setting and Environment:

  • Short-term, six-month contract
  • Monday - Friday, normal working hours
  • Work is to be performed at FinCEN offices in Vienna, VA
  • Potential travel to FinCEN offices in Washington, DC
