As a Corporate Engineer Digital & Electrical & Automation , you will lead the technical and functional aspects of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Electrical & Automation, and Digital Global solutions for all Nestlé & Nespresso factories in Switzerland. Your responsibility will be also to provide leadership to the logistics system and applications team across the factories to ensure consistent and standardized ways of working. In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to shape a strategic vision and roadmap for the long-term development of your areas of responsibility within Nespresso and Nestlé in Switzerland.

A Day in the Life of a Corporate Engineer Digital & Electrical & Automation

  • Proactively drive knowledge building across all Nestlé in Switzerland sites by fostering a sharing culture, building Electrical & Automation network and collaborating with schools and universities to identify & attract future talents

  • Ensure flawless support to warehouse operations across Nespresso factories and Pick & Pack

  • Collaborate with other departments and factories (Nestle Suisse) to implement the digital roadmap: drive standardization of digital solutions, identify and develop digital skills of operators across factories to make them evolve towards operator-centric digital tools

  • Initiate required projects to ensure state-of-the-art logistics systems and applications, managing obsolescence (Nespresso).

  • Deliver excellent project management for all projects from preparation to implementation, assessing technical soundness, controlling costs and resources, and ensuring compliance with Nestlé & Nespresso standards

  • Develop and coach your own team by creating competency matrixes, identifying development needs and building competency building plans

What will make you successful

  • Engineering degree in Automation and/or Electrical and/or IS/IT

  • Senior experience of MES engineering including automation

  • Successful experience in managing a team of technical and/or IS/IT teams

  • Track record in implementing software infrastructure at sites

  • Practicing to TPM & NCE

  • Ability to prepare investment budgets and project justifications.

  • Proficiency in using reporting & analytical tools (BI/BA)

  • Solid Project Management, organizational and planning skills

  • Fluency in English and French, German as a plus
