Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to EEC DAS Sales Manager this position plays a key role in ASSA ABLOY organization by cultivating strong relationships with system integrators, distributors and investors in order to facilitate the realization of digital access solutions projects on the Bulgarian market. This person will be responsible for growing the sales of selected access control and electro-mechanical solutions by managing SI and distribution channels as well as identifying potential investors, sourcing and developing project proposals, coordinating project execution, and maintaining post-project relationships. BUM System Integrators defines and executes the overall strategy for the business unit to create successful long- and short-term growth and profitability. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, and industry expertise to identify opportunities, negotiate agreements, manage channels and drive the success of our projects while ensuring client satisfaction.

Principal Responsibilities: Business Unit Management Tasks:

  • Have direct accountability for Sales, Margin, Customer Profitability and Customer Satisfaction, BU P&L, and other KPIs.

  • Develop relationships with key partners (incl.: SI’s, Distributors, Architects, Investors) for growth of our products and services within their markets.

    • Focus on sales target execution and market development of selected access control and electro-mechanical solutions

  • Develop, lead, and take operational responsibility for BU's day-to-day and strategic business activities.

  • Thrive to differentiate ASSA ABLOY offerings strategically and tactically by understanding the business drivers, knowledge of the competition, and by applying the appropriate mix. of technology, helping our customers to improve their own business and/or well-being.

  • Update and manage pipeline and prepare revenue forecasts using ASSA ABLOY system

  • Be the ambassador for new products and new sales approaches in a responsible country. Participate and present in industry events, trade shows, speaking engagements, external partner events, as well as external and internal sales meetings.

  • Maintain regular contact with local and regional sales management and marketing counterparts to discuss and track progress on business and marketing plans and any open issues.

  • Investor Engagement:

  • Identify and engage potential investors in the electronic access control industry.

  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with investors, understanding their investment criteria and preferences.

  • Keep investors informed about our company's digital access solutions and project opportunities.

  • Project Sourcing and Opportunity Identification:

  • Source and assess digital access control projects that align with investor interests and company goals.

  • Identify growth opportunities, emerging market segments, and new technologies relevant to digital access control.

  • Develop customized project proposals, addressing specific investor requirements and expectations.

    Project Development and Coordination: • Act as a liaison between investors and project teams, facilitating discussions, negotiations, and ensuring the successful execution of projects according to agreed-upon terms. • Collaborate with the team to identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive business growth. Post-Project Relationship Management: • Maintain ongoing communication with investors after project completion, providing updates on project outcomes and results. • Solicit and gather feedback from investors to identify opportunities for improvement and seek additional project collaborations. • Proactively request referrals and recommendations from satisfied investors to expand the company's network and enhance its reputation in the industry. Market Analysis: • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes. • Provide insights on growth opportunities and market developments. Additional responsibilities:

  • Prepare ad hoc reports and various analysis/overview

  • Support EEC and EMIEA initiatives.

  • Travel approx. 50% of working time.

    Education, Work Experience and Personal Qualities:

  • Strong sales competences and proven track record in achieving ambitious sales growth targets.

  • A hunter mentality, not a farmer - the capability to prospect, establish and drive new business.

  • Previous hands on experience with developing and rolling out a sales strategy and/or new product (technical product).

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Analytical & strategic thinking.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Minimum of 5 years in sales or business unit management within international companies

  • Minimum B2 level of English and fluent in local language

  • Higher education degree
