Automation and Control Strategies (ACS Pro Staffing) Engineering Support Specialist in Vancouver, Washington

Location: Vancouver, WA Type: Contract Job #7595 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Engineering Support Specialist 3 position will provide support for project efforts, including tracking costs, analyzing financial data, and reviewing budgeting and accounting reports. This analysis helps maintain strict expenditure controls for capital projects. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Facilitate turnaround in accordance with meeting preparation schedule and process, and facilitate response times to avoid schedule delays including: Project Decision Support Document Reviews Project Artifact Reviews MCPSC Agenda & Scheduling MCPSC Discussion & Decision Artifacts Maintenance of Transmission Technology (TT) PMO Reports using Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and other approved tools, including: Control Center Portfolio Dashboard & Financial Dashboard Monthly TT Project Forecasting Monthly TT Project Work Order Reports Annual and Semi-Annual presentations to TT Director and TT Leadership Automation of Transmission Technology (TT) PMO reports using Power BI, Excel, and other approved tools, including: Control Center Portfolio Dashboard & Financial Dashboard Monthly TT Project Forecasting Monthly TT Project Work Order Reports Provide TT System Life Cycle (SLC) Process Support Provide TT SLC support to TT PM's and BA's Gather SLC enhancement ideas from TT PMO stakeholders. Coordinate with TT PMO core team to prioritize and execute process enhancements. Create and maintain document lists for projects which logs decisions by PMO stakeholders. Act as POC for any questions from team members on status of document locations, markings, and whether they are ready for distribution. Support the creation and maintenance of intuitive project file directories, the Project Support Library, and associated tools to optimize the ease of finding information. Mark documents and maintain filing system(s), files, emails, and records in accordance with compliance requirements. Share and disperse documents only to appropriate personnel (those with a Lawful Government Purpose (LGP) to know). Mark and maintain all official records in accordance with the Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Governance & Lifecycle Management (IGLM) standards and procedures. Validate official records are accurately maintained for auditing purposes. Anticipate constraints due to resources or ambiguities and work proactively to address bottlenecks and recommend resolution(s). Assist with program presentations, document feedback. Review and recommend improvement to processes used by the TT PMO. Research and document cost information for projects and the TT Control Center IT Portfolio. Assist with development of necessary documentation to support reporting and audit requirements. Prepare technical analysis, forecast summary reports, and other documents, as requested.
