Jacks Chophouse Kitchen Crew Member in Valdosta, Georgia

Job Summary Food preparation and cooking in Valdosta's premier steakhouse and seafood restaurant, being part of a positive active team and growing with the business.

Kitchen Staff Responsibilities:

  • Clean workstations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Wash, chop and shred ingredients for subsequent use by the kitchen staff.
  • Sweep and mop floors, as required.
  • Assist with the unloading of deliveries.
  • Store ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations.
  • Report all damaged or faulty equipment to the kitchen manager.
  • Pack customers' leftover food upon request.
  • Clean trash cans and dispose of trash on a regular basis.

Kitchen Staff Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No experience necessary/ Training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.
