This is a key leadership role responsible for driving product definitions, business case development, new product/solutions roadmaps, growth, customer retention and profitability for Greenway’s Revenue Cycle and Clearinghouse Services. Assess current performance and conduct market scans in partnership with key stakeholders across the organization to determine and evolve Greenway’s product and services strategy including where we compete and how we win in the marketplace.

This role partners across the organization and with third party partners, to create and implement compelling, value-driven solution offerings. Accountable for competitiveness of the product and services' features, functionality, and quality. Provide strategic direction, focusing on the business and clinical needs of customers. Bring deep understanding of customer and market needs. Work with development teams, providing necessary input on product requirements and design. Evangelize for the product and services with customers, commercial teams, and other connected teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to expand and improve our RCM product offerings within the EHR platforms.

  • Oversee the development, testing, and launch of new RCM features, functions, and services.

  • Partner with product development teams to ensure RCM features align with client needs and industry standards.

  • Conduct market research and stay abreast of evolving RCM regulations and best practices.

  • Develop and deliver educational resources and training programs for clients on optimizing their RCM processes with our EHR platforms.

  • Manage and optimize the performance of the RCM services team, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to position RCM solutions as a key differentiator for the company.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders in the delivery of our Revenue Cycle services.

  • Establish tradeoffs between internal development and business partnership activities with strategic partners-including contract negotiations and maintenance, product changes, forecasting and financials.

  • Track industry trends and regulations and recommend proactive strategies to adapt our RCM solutions.

  • Collaborate with marketing to translate practice needs, market analysis, competitive analysis, and regulatory environment factors into actionable strategies and tactics for the revenue cycle product and services.

  • Evangelize for the product and services by presenting to customers and user groups; sell product roadmaps internally; provide sales training and generate enthusiasm for the product and service offerings.

  • Ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.

  • Create a team environment that encourages innovation, growth, and development.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field

  • MBA preferred.

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.

  • Experience with project management methodologies.

  • Experience in building solid business plans which include appropriate ROI and related business analysis and justification. Must be proficient in delivering and selling that vision through all levels of management within the organization.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing RCM strategies.

  • In-depth knowledge of RCM workflows, regulations, and best practices (e.g., ICD-10 coding, HCPCS coding, Medicare billing).

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare EHR landscape and its impact on revenue cycle management.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to determine clear prioritization and appropriate trade-offs regarding product roadmap candidates as well as resourcing and timing.

  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., EHR systems, RCM software).

  • Strategic thinker and proven leader/team player.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Passionate, customer-champion with proven success in producing innovative products, services and supporting processes directly focused on improvement of bottom-line results.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication including depicting strategy to executive teams and boards.

  • Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile principles a plus.
