JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Marketing Work Management and Planning team within the Outreach and Online Education (OOE) Marketing is actively looking for a M arketing P roject M anager to become part of our highly accomplished team. In this role, you will play a key role in the management of the Marketing project portfolio, leading projects and work efforts, and providing support for Adobe Workfront, our work management tool . Additionally, this position involves aiding in financial reporting, offering support for time tracking, leading change initiatives, and strategically managing work within OOE Marketing and Communications.

This position has the potential to be performed fully remote or as a hybrid of remote and on-site work at the University Park campus. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Work Management and Planning, the m arketing p roject m anager will oversee the project lifecycle including chartering, planning, execution, and closing activities for strategic projects, internal OOE Marketing projects, and cross-unit engagement projects . Project work will require coordination of project teams including external consultants, technology partners, and internal staff and partners. Candidates must be comfortable with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management approaches.

This role will also support the usage and adoption of Workfront , our business-critical work management tool . Responsibilities i nclude support, administration, training, onboarding/offboarding, documentation, reporting, super user oversight, governance engagement, and product maturation.

The s uccessful candidate will have /be :

  • E xperience effectively and efficiently lead ing multiple projects simultaneously, some of which may be technical.

  • Experience in or working knowledge of marketing operations, including processes, campaigns, creative production , web, content and communications, and analysis .

  • The person in this role should understand the subject matter at a high level .

  • Exceptional communication and diplomacy skills with the a bility to handle ambiguity and stay composed while navigating complexi ties ,

  • T rustworthy and reliable for meeting deadlines and paying attention to the details .

    Education & Experience:

T his position will be filled as a Intermediate Professional or Advanced Professional depending on the final applicant’s experience and education. The Intermediate Professional requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education and/or experience are required for higher-level positions.

  • I ndustry certifications are highly preferred .

  • Experience in m arketing and W orkfront is also highly preferred.

The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$61,800.00 - $115,100.00
