Our client, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) based in the US, is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development and commercialization efforts.

Location: Union County

Responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacturing and CMC development projects from kickoff through tech transfer and process optimization to handoff to the production team.

  • Develop and execute project plans and budgets under the supervision of the VP of CDMO Project Management.

  • Assist in the tech transfer and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other project-related documentation.

  • Participate in initial radiolabeling, QC testing, and troubleshooting for new products.

  • Manage the training and internal hand-off of projects to production and quality teams.

  • Maintain standard project management tools, including open issue lists and Gantt charts.

  • Collaborate closely with client teams and internal departments (production, quality, finance).

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or 2-3 years of project management experience in other segments of the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in GMP environments.

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.); an advanced scientific degree is strongly preferred.

  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under strict timelines.

  • Proven ability to work independently and exercise judgment during method development/transfer processes.

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Practical experience with basic project management techniques and software applications.

  • Ability to convey complex ideas simply to management and customers.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, etc.) and experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Strong technical writing skills.
