WorkSource Oregon Quality Assurance & Inventory Manager in UMATILLA, Oregon

Job Information We\'re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance & Inventory Manager to join our team to ensure that all products are up to par before being released to the public. Position will require creation and oversight of quality programs. Writes and maintains quality documents for compliance with FDA, AIB, SQF, and all other regulatory agencies. Oversee the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the AIB & SQF systems. Validates and verifies quality and sanitation programs. Keeps abreast of FSMA, new labeling requirements, requirements of other countries, etc. Aids with selecting and implementing training programs. Responsible for label compliance and pre-shipment review. Position will require maintenance of quality programs by performing laboratory quality tests and ensuring that operators have completed their quality tasks. Will need to learn and follow Standard Operating Procedures and understanding of the Quality Manual. Performs basic quality testing on products by analyzing samples of raw materials, process samples, and product samples in-house. Will send samples out to third party laboratories and manage lab documentation and reporting of lab results. Will be responsible for taking Environmental monitoring samples and reporting results. Will verify records generated by operators for sanitation and preventative maintenance programs. Interfaces with the pest control operator and other vendors as necessary. Ensures completion of records for day-to-day activities for compliance with FDA and all other regulatory agencies. Conducts internal auditing, FDA audits, and selecting and implementing training programs. Formulates future blends and reviews Blend paperwork once completed. Responsible for working with all levels of management in providing strategic direction, solutions and leadership in blend plan production planning, inventory management and product availability. Maintain inventory levels and forecast ordering of priority and critical materials. Member of Food and Feed Safety Team. Member of Recall Team. Member of Required Skills: \' HACCP training required and working knowledge of quality systems in food processing. \' Must have basic laboratory experience and knowledge of GMP\'s. food sanitation, food defense \' Must be detail oriented. \' Computer literate. Position will entail use of Word and EXCEL for document creation, data entry and analysis. \' Must be able to handle multiple challenges, projects rapidly changing priorities and shifting deadlines. \' Knowledge of SQF, AIB, Kosher, Halal \' SQF & AIB Practitioner
