Amergis RN Med Surg - Nights $2404/weekly! in Turtle Lake, North Dakota

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS - TNCC(preferred)

No Prescreen - Interview with Manager

  • of Beds: 25 Critical Access Hospital (rural location)

  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: team assignment

  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: mostly Geriatric population, general rehab post surgery,

  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: understanding of dementia, stroke, skin care geriatric patient care

  • How many years of experience required?: 2 yrs

  • Previous Travel experience required?: no

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Are RNs required to titrate drips?: no (pump infusion)

  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: N/A

  • Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Yes

  • Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Team assignment, not individual assignments

  • Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Nurse Aides / CNA on each shift

  • RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Patient managed CPAP only

  • Are RNs required to do anything with RT Equipment besides troubleshoot?: no

  • Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit?: telemonitor capacity, no techs

  • Are RNs required to read their own strips?: no

  • Shifts & Scheduling Details: 12 hours

  • Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?: Yes

  • Weekend Requirement: every other

  • Holiday Requirement: alternating

  • Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: no

  • Floating Requirements: no

  • Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: Scrubs, no specific color

  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3 shifts ( one department only)

    Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

    RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
