System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for a Sr. Accountant. The Senior Accountant works with others who excel in their areas of expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze accounting entries to the general ledger

• Research financial variances and opportunities for cost management

• Review and validate balance sheet accounts

• Prepare account reconciliations and ensure proper coding

• Update period reporting for review by specific departments and assist with updated projections for the year determining results of various programs

• Support the annual audit process

• Provide required reporting for external parties

• Analyze specific accounts for savings opportunities

• Work with various departments to help them manage their profitability and control costs

  Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting or Finance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred

• Knowledge of Accounting principles

• Proficient in Excel and experience with Accounting systems

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Organized and able to manage time well to meet deadlines

• Team player with ability to work with individuals at all levels

• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

  Salary: $70K - $75K
