Short Term Contract* TEKsystems is partnering with a company that is looking to hire a short term Field Technician for their team. The Field Technician will assist with onsite installation services to the client. This role will contribute to the physical installation of devices, removal of existing devices, ensuring ports are correctly installed and labeled, preparing hardware for return shipment, and validation of network post-installation. The Field technician will support our Sr Network Field Technicians while onsite to ensure efficient and correct network refresh. The Technician will receive direction from more senior onsite team members and will partner to ensure all work is completed in a timely and quality, professional manner. Responsibilities include assisting with rack/stack of new devices, packing of old equipment for return/disposal, wireless network connectivity validation following refresh, and Day1 onsite support.

Pay: $35 per hour

SHORT TERM CONTRACT - this position will be a few days a week between May 13th - May 29th

• Rogers AR: May 13 - 14th

• Tulsa OK: May 15th, 16th, and 20th- 23rd

• OKC - May 29th - 30th

Travel : This position will require travel to OKC and Northwest Arkansas - mileage over 50 miles and hotel will be provided

Skills

· Familiarity with Network Device Installation/ Rack & Stack

· Install of patch cabling / port installation / power connection

· Attention to detail.

· Ability to take direction from more senior resources.

· Have their own reliable transportation – won’t be able rely on public transportation or family members for transportation.

· Ability to walk continuously through the day (if needed)
