Position Summary
Located in our Tucson, Arizona facility, the Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational availability of a wide array of manufacturing and production equipment. You will apply your technical skills to install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
Maintenance Technicians are also the first-responding problem solvers who manage machine breakdown recoveries to keep production running.
Principle Accountabilities
Diagnose equipment failures, find the root cause, and communicate actions taken to the rest of the team.
Responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting/repair, cleanliness, and escalation of assigned equipment.
Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds.
Use manufacturing systems effectively.
Work with cross functional groups to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime.
Recommend countermeasures to prevent repetitive breakdowns.
Build a strong relationship with machine operators.
Organize and maintain a high degree of cleanliness in the maintenance area as well as performing spares inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
Position Requirements
Ability to read and interpret drawings
PLC experience
Experience with automation
Electrical experience
Proficient in utilizing tape measures and basic hand tools including, but not limited to trowels, hammers, wrenches, chisels, power tools, welding torches etc.
