Your Key Responsibilities

The Lead System Engineer is a senior mechatronic professional working on steer by wire and/or active suspension systems. They lead the technical development of a mechatronic system by setting priorities, consulting the team and preparing design solutions supported by analysis in order to fulfill the system requirements until SOP. Implement a strategy for the technical product in the given environment to achieve the project goal Ensure a cross functional communication and information flow between organizational borders Contact person for external parties concerning technical content Supports project manager in project and team setup as well as planning and setting priorities Ensures information flow between systems teams/team members (requirements, architecture, features, safety workflow, security workflow, system analysis, etc.) and engineering disciplines Consults all engineers concerning technical issues in the project Prepares and decides on technical design proposals/solutions

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or related engineering discipline 5 years of experience in mechatronic system development Understanding of vehicle level attributes/targets (integration, performance, efficiency, NVH, etc..) Experience in automotive systems engineering, esp. physical and data-driven system modelling, requirements engineering, system architecture, system integration and verification Knowledge of automotive development processes and methods Awareness of ISO26262 / Functional Safety
