Description For an immediate job opening, Robert Half is seeking a skilled and ambitious Accounting Manager for an on-the-rise, growing Managed Services company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every single day

• Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

• Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

• Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants

• Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met

• Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration Requirements - Recent relevant financial experience

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• Profit Loss experience preferred

• Proficiency in Expense Reconciliation

• Well-founded grasp of Federal Taxes

• Quality experience with journal entries

• Experience with Federal Taxes

• Foundational knowledge in Balance Sheets

• Practical knowledge of bank reconciliations

• General familiarity with month end closings

• Proven knowledge of Local Taxes

• General ledger experience

• CPA/MBA preferred

• Proven technical skills

• Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers
