Position Overview

We're looking for a Sr. Manager, User Experience/User Interface to join our growing Weave Design Systems team here at Autodesk! The Weave Design System is a collection of standardized design patterns and reusable UI components to allow our teams to create cohesive digital experiences for Autodesk products. The team operates centrally, serving all Autodesk, not one specific product team.

As Sr. Manager, UX/UI you will help lead our design team by managing Designers (Full time and contractors), facilitating workshops and design reviews, collaborating with product teams and helping the team strategically. This role will not be 100% people management, and candidates should have strong design and collaboration skills. We're designing a platform for design to work for all products at Autodesk. You will report to the Director of the Weave Design System.

The location of this role is Toronto, ON. Prefer candidates to work hybrid/remote in our Toronto offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of designers, including performance reviews, assignment of work and design reviews

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and architects across teams and organizations

• Guide and participate in design reviews to maintain a high standard for all Weave components and documentation

• Work with the team to help define new processes and hone current ones

• Manage your time across responsibilities between hands on design work/consultation and leading design teams

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of Management experience working with UX teams

• 5+ years of design experience working with UX teams and ideally design systems for software

• Experience collaborating across distributed teams

• Demonstrated experience presenting to leadership
