Randstad is currently assisting a global manufacturer in Topeka, Kansas with a direct-hire search for an experienced Plant Maintenance Manager. • $10,000 sign-on-bonus plus a RELOCATION Package • Salary - $115K - $125K, plus a 10% bonus • In-office position - Day shift - Managerial position • NON-UNION facility----stable department • Direct reports - 1 Assistant Manager, 3 supervisors, and 14 mechanics. • High visibility...lots of growth opportunities. • The company offers healthcare, tuition assistance & reimbursement, 401K, vacation and paid holidays, and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Offer leadership, managerial, and technical assistance for all maintenance tasks linked with plant operations.

• Analyze and resolve technical maintenance challenges.

• Lead efforts to ensure a secure work environment for staff and adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations at both state and federal levels.

• Conduct evaluations of the Maintenance management team's performance and suggest or implement suitable training initiatives for skill enhancement.

• Utilize the CMMS to analyze data, create reports, and execute measures to enhance key performance indicators.

• Possess operational expertise in electrical systems, refrigeration, combustion equipment, and mechanical systems.

• Knowledge of PLC programming is essential; experience in PLC programming is preferred, and proficiency is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with lean tools or analogous statistical processes and control systems is necessary.
