持続性、拡張性のあるサービスの提供には、配送スピードのみではなく、いかに効率よく出荷及び配送できるかが重要となります。Amazonを利用されるお客様からの注文を、配送サービスやスピード、それに掛かるコスト等の様々な観点から効率化を図ることで、お客様へのより良い購買経験の提供を目指しています。そのためには社内の膨大なデータを分析し、サービス向上とコスト削減のために現状の把握と課題を特定、またその改善活動が必要不可欠といえます。

今回募集するポジションは、入荷・在庫化・出荷・配送という、AmazonのSupply Chain Management (SCM)のENDtoENDの効率化を、システムやオペレーションの効率化を通じて、コスト削減機会を提案し遂行するチーム（Supply Chain Optimization)のリーダーです。

1) 510人規模のチームを率いるリーダーとして活躍してもらいます。そのため、個人としての成果を出すことのみならず、チーム全体の成果を最大化することにも注力する必要があります。

2) 本ポジションでは長期の改善施策の提案や、オペレーションコストやに影響を与える要素の高い輸送物量計画の作成（配送の箱数の予測、平均輸送距離の予測）を行います。

3)計画立案のみならず、Projectの実行のステータスや日々のKPIの管理を行い、国内、海外への経営層への報告を行います。

そのため、本ポジションでは、経営層を相手とする高いコミュニケーションスキルと、大局をとらえる視点、ステークホルダーとの交渉力と突破力が求められます。提案される施策は全て定量的なデータに基づいて語られるべきであり、基本的なデータ分析のスキル (pivotや関数を使用したExcelによる分析) は必須で、重要な局面ではチームメンバーとデータの深掘りも行います。またファイナンス部門、販売部門、輸送およびサプライチェーン部門内の他チームと積極的なコミュニケーションを取り、協業を行います。海外のAmazonの組織（特に米国とEU）とも密に連携し、海外の改善事例や、海外のテクノロジーの導入も積極的に行います。KPIの評価、目標値は、国内の状況や過去の実績からの改善のみならず、海外のAmazonの実績もベンチマークとされるケースが多いです。

In the e-commerce (EC) business, the lifeline is to deliver customers' orders as quickly, cheaply, and reliably as possible. Maintaining and improving delivery speed while continuously reducing costs is a critical element of Amazon Japan's growth, amidst the increasingly complex and diversified business environment.

To provide sustainable and scalable services, it is not only about delivery speed, but also how efficiently shipments and deliveries can be executed. By optimizing the efficiency of order fulfillment from the perspectives of delivery services, speed, and associated costs, Amazon aims to provide customers with an even better purchase experience. To this end, analyzing the vast amount of internal data to grasp the current situation and identify issues, as well as driving improvement activities, is essential for service enhancement and cost reduction.

The position we are hiring for is the leader of the Supply Chain Optimization team, who will drive the end-to-end efficiency of Amazon's supply chain management, including inbound, inventory, outbound, and delivery, through system and operational optimization, and propose and execute cost reduction opportunities.

1. As the leader of a team of 5-10 people, you will not only need to deliver individual results, but also maximize the overall team's achievements.

2. In this role, you will propose long-term improvement initiatives and create transportation volume plans that have a high impact on operational costs (forecasting the number of delivery packages, average transportation distances, etc.).

3. Beyond just planning, you will manage project execution status and daily KPIs, and report to the management team both domestically and globally.

Therefore, this position requires strong communication skills to engage with senior management, a big-picture perspective, negotiation skills, and the ability to drive results. All proposed initiatives should be supported by quantitative data, and basic data analysis skills (using pivot tables and functions in Excel) are essential, with the ability to deep-dive into data with your team members when needed. You will also actively communicate and collaborate with other teams within finance, sales, transportation, and supply chain. You will closely coordinate with Amazon's overseas organizations (especially the US and EU) to leverage improvement cases and technology adoptions from abroad. KPI evaluations and target settings are often benchmarked against not only domestic performance, but also Amazon's global results.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 5+ years of team management experience

• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements

• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

• English full proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

• Native Japanese speaker / JLPT N1 - Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
