Energy Transition team is focusing on business at traditional refinery or natural gas, renewable energy, heat management(heat transfer fluid), industrial water treatment and new energy transition(CCUS/Blue hydrogen). This market is one of three key marketing areas in Dow Industrial Solutions. We are looking for customer manager in Japan who can work with the team and contribute the sales growth. The job is managing existing Energy Transition customers and developing new projects in short term or long term. Also, person needs to be key focal of one of EPC companies in Japan.

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Manages account portfolio and prepares and implements sales plans.

  • Leads and coordinates customer relationships working to understand customer needs and identify potential new clients.

  • Input information in CRM and SmartPrice providing the required documentation aligned to the Dow sales processes.

  • Manages Sales Contracts following Dow guidelines and legal requirements according to each region and country.

  • Develops and executes sales and marketing plans delivering business goals of volume and value.

  • Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales/marketing plan.

  • Leads and conducts negotiations and implements price changes and strategies.

  • Collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Minimum five years’ experience in technical/sales/commercial related positions.

This position does not offer relocation assistance.

• A minimum requirement for this Japan based position is the ability to work legally in Japan. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of Japan permanent residency process.

Dow does not offer relocation if the position is offered to someone who lives outside the area or reimbursement for travel to and from interviews. If you consider a position that is not within the area you reside you will be responsible for all cost that incur.
