Job Description

Job Summary:

Reporting to Sales Manager Solutions Japan, this position will be responsible for sales of Automation products in Japan.

An Assistant Sales Manager’s job entails working mostly with Sales Manager and application Engineer to develop and expand Automation business and to give required product sales support to close business successfully.

He/She works with Sales Manager to research, understand the customer needs, and determine the overall business and technical solution.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand Automation business in Japan.

• Provide technical consultation and support to key customers/distributors across multiple product lines.

• Work with Product Management, Engineering and Service team to improve our products and offerings.

• Work with marketing team to create market awareness and marketing promotion in targeted sales channel and customer group.

• Participating at conferences, tradeshows and other events as required by Sales and Product Management.

• Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the company products, function, features and benefits.

• Establishes and maintains accurate sales pipeline and forecasts.

Job Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years working experience in sales or business development of high technology equipment or commercial electronics field.

• Expert knowledge and good understanding of camera hardware and software.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Information engineering

• Strong communication skill

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent Japanese, business level English.

This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
