In this role you will:

· Perform all aspects of contract administration including proposal support and negotiation, post-award contract administration, and contract closeout.

· Ensure timely and accurate processing and review of customer orders in a fast-paced and high-volume setting.

· Provide guidance, advice and counsel to FBM programmatic and technical staff regarding contract interpretation issues, contract scope issues, and other contract-related matters.

· Review and evaluate customer requests for proposal or revisions to contracts; provide risk assessments and offer alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language; evaluate and coordinate proposals; investigate and reconcile significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc.

· Prior professional experience working with multiple contract types (FPI, CPIF/CPFF), fee arrangements, as well as deep experience with FAR/DFARS.

· You must be a U.S. Citizen and currently possess or be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college.

· Must be experienced negotiating contracts

· Knowledge of FAR, DFARS

· Able to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers on strategies to resolve contractual issues.

Desired Skills:

· Demonstrated experience with briefing senior leadership on program status and contractual issues.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to support and achieve business goals and a desire to help grow the business and gain efficiencies to improve program performance and drive results.

· Skilled at independent learning and research.

· Ability to take the lead in a team environment and provide contractual support and guidance to other program personnel.

· Comfortable exercising latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments, serving as point-of-contact to the USG customer on major matters pertaining to program policies, plans, and objectives.

· Demonstrated development of solutions to a variety of complex problems.

· Ensures solutions are consistent with program and organization objectives and policies.

· Ability to guide strategic activities and to develop incentive fee plans.

· Strong positive customer relations track record.

· Mentoring cohorts and associates.

· Must be experienced negotiating contracts and working with different contract types, i.e. CPFF, FFP, CPIF, etc.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
