Continental Supplier Quality Planning (SQP) in Timișoara, Romania

Main tasks:

  • Collaboration in new customer projects, with dedicated responsibility for Supplier component quality,

  • Provide technical support for Maturity Evaluation and supplier risk assessment to project teams;

  • Support project team members with technical- and system knowledge;

  • Leads Supplier Component Review in cooperation with Purchasing and Project Management;

  • Drives quality planning (APQP) with suppliers in defined projects;

  • Leads milestone review in cooperation with supplier (activities and due dates);

  • Leading of VDA 6.3. process approval and R@R based on process and capacities;

  • Consideration of agreements concerning Safe Launch as agreed in SCR, follow-up;

Supportive tasks of SQP:

  • Support the approval of initial samples (PPAP) in cooperation with the local Quality Department for defined customer projects;

  • Interface between supplier and Application engineering for deviation approval if necessary;

  • Execution of capacity analysis on request for serial suppliers;

  • Complaint Management on request;

  • Support Continuous Improvement Process with defined suppliers on request;

  • Support escalation process on request;

We are looking for:

  • Higher education in economics, foreign trade, or marketing

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics and Business Administration

  • 4 (3+) years of professional experience in the Automotive Industry

  • Experience with quality management methods and Core Tools

  • Understanding of products and their technological processes

  • Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English

  • SAP knowledge

  • Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of Automotive standards (e.g. IATF 16949, AIAG and VDA handbooks, etc.)

  • Driving licence

  • Be able to work in a distributed global team environment

  • Strong initiative, self-motivated, and flexible

  • Problem-solving, analytic, and conceptional skills

  • Willingness to travel
