About the Role
The IT Consultant-ALM Platforms is globally responsible for Magna Electronics ALM platforms to ensure stable operations and continuous improvements.The role is responsible for understanding business requirements and objectives, providing strategic advice on utilizing global ALM platforms. The role works in partnership with internal & external stakeholders in analyzing problems, offering solutions, and ensuring effective utilization of ALM platforms globally to drive business success.
Who we are looking for
Education
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in engineering or Information technology
Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience inFunctional Safety Analysistoolchains and process development especially in administration, support & development of the systems
Experience of IT administration and Server maintenance
Skills to create SCCM Package(s) of tools preferred.
Certification inFunctional Safety Analysisis a plus
Your Responsibilities
Operations
Responsible for Installation of Medini tool in Server(s)
Responsible for all interactions with Medini Tool suppliers
Responsible for all interactions with Medini users of ME
Support in Functional Safety Analysis evaluation(s)
Responsible for the operations of the service & its associated components
Ensures that the support organization can fix all solution related tickets (incidents, service requests, problems, changes, knowledge base articles, technical trainings)
Agrees effectiveness & sustainability of this solution with affected stakeholders
Monitor & optimization of license usage together with license management & draft appropriate measures in case of deviation together with License Management and Functional Safety Analysis team
Plan, coordinate or conduct technical activities for continuous improvement of the Functional Safety Analysis toolchain
Strategic
- Support implementation & global roll-out of the modeling and design tools from IT together with the engineering stakeholders.
Your preferred qualifications
Skills/Knowledge
Comprehensive knowledge in Tool, System Administration & customization of Functional Safety Analysis toolchain (Medini Tool chains)
Advanced knowledge of modeling and design simulation processes
Advanced knowledge in operating an enterprise Medini (Standard IT support, operations & maintenance)
Advanced knowledge of licensing servers and hosting systems (IT Infrastructure) related to Medini
Basic knowledge of Automotive Standards e.g., V-Model, SPICE/CMMI or comparable
Basic knowledge of programming & scripting knowledge (VB Script, SCCM)
Personal Skills
Able to work effectively in a global environment with little to no supervision
Able to represent technical topics internally and externally
Planned and structured approach
Cross functional thinking
Team oriented with assertiveness ability and social competencies
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in business English
