Forge Nano Program Manager in Thornton, Colorado

Program Manager - Forge Battery Forge Nano Inc. is a fast-growing materials company with a focus on manufacturing nano-scale coatings across a wide range of markets. Forge Battery, our subsidiary, is seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate activity across the Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions contributing to Forge Nano's success. Ability to grow into expanded roles in Product Engineering management is desired. This role will report to the VP-Supply Chain/Product Engineering/Program Management. SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES This role will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and administration of initiatives related to Product implementation to meet industry standards. Key areas of engagement include Program Management, Customer Satisfaction initiatives, Engineering & Quality Systems applications, Document Control, Best Practices sharing, Strategic Planning, Budget Mgt & Annual Operating Plan, and Cross-Functional Team managem REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience working in a fast-paced, start up, and/or high-growth environment. 5+ years of Program Management or Engineering experience 2-3+ years specifically in Li-ion or Battery industry Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive success in Product Development Demonstrated history of exceeding targets and fulfilling leadership responsibilities as needed. Deep understanding and experience w/FMEA, DVP and Product Engineering disciplines Bachelor's degree in technical field (i.e., Engineering) Relevant experience in cylindrical cell format electrodes, cell assembly, manufacturing & testing PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Advanced degree in Business, or an Engineering discipline PMP Certification Exposure to environments practicing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication/people skills Demonstrated time management skills with history of complex cross-functional role(s) WORK ENVIRONMENT Work will be in an office or manufacturing environment. The employee will be required to wear all appropriate safety equipment including but not limited to eye protection, gloves, steel toe shoes, lab coat, and in the plant, a hard hat. Strict adherence to corporate and/or plant policies, rules and regulations in these areas is required. TRAVEL Frequent travel (25-50%) may be required depending on current activities. Passport required. COMPENSATION/BENEFITS The hired candidate can expect to make between $120,000 to $130,000 annually. Final pay will be based upon relevant experience, skills, and education. Preference will be given to those candidates currently residing in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina.
