The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

With your expertise as well as analytical thinking and iterative problem solving, you are an experienced trusted advisor who can set strategy and execute. You can comfortably manage a portfolio of complex programs and processes; contribute to leadership discussions on strategy, budget, and talent; and make sound decisions that drive successful outcomes for the company. In the process, you will have exciting opportunities to grow as a thought leader and see your contributions have a tremendous impact on the business

Specifically, in this role you will work closely with business unit heads to provide guidance and advisory services to improve standardization. You will engage in key stakeholder governance routines and leadership meetings facilitating business unit strategy and providing execution leadership.

Your collaboration across the organization:

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sourcing to maintain comprehensive books of record for technology suppliers and supplier delivery commitments.

  • Work with Human Resources to help ensure contract resource alignment

  • Work with the Project Management Office to align business unit strategy with annual appropriations and associated contract request submissions.

  • Work with financial management, helping manage financial planning to create a cohesive product and service strategy.

  • Provide clear insight into vendor spending, maintenance renewals, and other outside costs for vendor operations to execute

Required Skills:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience within a large, highly matrixed organization with recent work related to standards and governance

  • Ability to identify excessive cycle time and/or costs and develop alternative courses of action associated with the contract life cycle

  • Proven ability to reach an audience through effective and clear presentations, writing skills and excellent communication strategies

  • Good consensus-builder; able to drive requests across multiple stakeholder groups, work through obstacles and remove barriers

  • Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization, and be viewed as a team player

  • Solid understanding and planning skills in all aspects of the system's/business life cycle

  • Ability to identify irregular data

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering positive results and working within time and budgetary constraints

  • Advanced systems knowledge with strong capabilities in Ariba, SharePoint, and Excel

  • Strong Office 365 and presentation skills

  • Effective use of collaboration tools, such as MS Teams and SharePoint

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new capabilities/tools based on business needs

  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business/Management, Finance or Technology related fields or Equivalent work experience is equally preferable.

Other Qualifications:

  • As per MUFG’s Location & Return to Office Strategy policy, must work onsite for 4 days and 1 day remotely out of our Jersey City, NJ or Tempe, AZ office.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $102K - $135K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
