Job Highlights:

SSM Health is looking for an Epic certified and experienced Population Health/Compass Rose analyst to join our Integrated Health Technologies team. Someone who will partner with system Population Health leaders in solution development on top priorities for our organization. Our teams support day to day operational needs, clinical program initiatives, we complete system enhancements and optimization work at the direction of system governance.

Successful candidates should have 5-7+ years of system build experience, with the most recent supporting Population Health/Compass Rose initiatives. Candidates will be expected to serve as a partner with system leaders who share their goals and challenges, offering solutions that help support and monitor outcomes with system implementation of feature and workflow enhancements. Candidates need to have a core clinical certification such as EpicCare Ambulatory, Epic Clinical Documentation, in addition to Epic Healthy Planet and/or Compass Rose. Other core clinical applications may be considered pending experience.

Our employees work remote but must be residents of Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina or Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

Configures, implements, supports and maintains applications and technical integrations to meet the needs of the organization. Acts as a consultant on moderate to complex application and data integration issues. Serves as a coordinator and customer service representative between business operations, information technology, leadership, system users and vendors.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoots and resolves complex application issues and provides end user support.

• Monitors applications for issues in connection with maintenance, upgrades and implementations.

• Assists in performing business process design, reengineering and documentation for new technology.

• Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.

• May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and/or complexity.

• Assists others in solving complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions.

• Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service with large scale objectives; work is guided by functional policies.

• Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.

• Use awareness of department and system initiatives and drives decision making while maintaining a positive relationship with the customer.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education

EXPERIENCE

• Five years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

• Rare climbing.
