PeopleReady SR. Sales Analyst in Tacoma, Washington

PeopleReady's Sales Enablement team is focused on delivering sales insights to the business that will help provide direction sales programs, customer engagement, and overall sales growth.  The Senior Sales Analyst is responsible for managing customer data utilizing customer master systems (Salesforce, SalesLoft, Prism, and others).  This role is remote or located in our Tacoma office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to manage large quantities of data, proficient business acumen and a customer service mindset.  He or she is self-motivated and always seeking new, data driven insights. A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. 

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong analytical, modeling, and reporting skills with the ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize deadlines in a continually evolving environment.

  • Experience with multi-source data collection and preparation.

  • Ability to handle significant quantities of data with high levels of accuracy.

  • Ability to communicate with and influence senior leaders.

  • Ability to prepare and present data analysis to “non-data” audience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills; knowledge of SQL and Power BI a plus.

Tasks may include:

  • Address data requests, resolve data issues, and engage Data Stewards.

  • Data visualization – creating Power BI dashboards, analyzing reports and dashboards

  • Data reporting and analysis – daily, monthly and quarterly

  • Provide analytic support as needed

  • Help to answer questions business questions by analyzing/providing data

  • Implement new metrics for the team from existing data

  • Strive to improve data quality and generate useful reports

  • Assist in the development of presentations to report on results.

  • Understanding of general business functions: Nature of B2B business; Broad understanding of Sales, Marketing, and Finance functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related area; combination of related work experience and education. 

  • 3-5 years of experience in data management and analytics 

  • Power BI proficiency

  • Data Quality experience, sales or related industry experience a plus.

  • Staffing industry experience desired.

  • Excellent customer service and ability to plan and execute to customer-specific requirements.

  • Project coordination experience.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to advance multiple projects simultaneously with strong documentation and follow up.

  • Effective in a collaborative team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, SQL.  Ability to learn and work with new applications.

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year plus an annual bonus program. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
