Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation. You will assume primary responsibility for all aspects of cylinder handling and maintenance within the facility. As Production Supervisor, you will promote safety, teamwork, and Airgas policies at all times. In particular, you will: Ensure safety rules are strictly observed and safety training is regularly scheduled, conducted and documented. You will correct unsafe practices or conditions without delay and promote safety awareness and accountability of employees. Lead plant associates engaged in the operation, maintenance, and handling of cylinders. Provide appropriate training to plant associates to ensure adequate and consistent production levels are meeting demand. Operate a forklift and other equipment as required to move and maintain materials. Perform backup duties for other employees during vacations and other periods of personnel shortage. Hostel trucks during loading shift. __Are you a MATCH? High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with two plus years of experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five or more years of industry related experience or training. Must maintain appropriate forklift certifications. Class A or B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement (or willingness to obtain with Airgas assistance) Must be able to work in a drug free environment.
