The Role The Compliance Specialist/Auditor is responsible for executing a wide range of ethics and compliance program objectives related to policies, new law and regulation implementation, communication, auditing, and training. In this role, the individual will develop an in-depth understanding of operational processes and business technology platforms to assess risk, identify solutions and effective controls, test and audit, and help influence positive change and improvement. The individual in this role will support ethics and compliance strategies and initiatives to help promote a more ethical and compliant culture. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Execute independently, and as part of a team, on wide range of ethics and compliance objectives related to policies, new law and regulation implementation, communication, auditing, and training. Build and maintain relationships with and provide advice and serve as trusted subject matter expert to operations employees on one or more key compliance risk areas (e.g., wage and hour, drug testing, background checks, immigration). Track legislative and regulatory developments; provide analysis on impact to Company and recommendations for implementation. Collaborate and consult with varied internal and external stakeholders in shaping outcomes that reduce risk and meet Company goals. Work with Compliance Manager and attorneys to develop field-based and discreet audit/testing/compliance review plans and execute on those plans Assist Compliance leadership in annual planning, reviews and development of audit/testing/compliance review plans Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Associate's (A.A.) or equivalent degree or 2-4 years of related professional experience in compliance, auditing or operational management Related experience in a multi-unit, multi-brand organization preferred Unquestionable moral and ethical integrity Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to
