SUNY Upstate Medical University Registered Nurse - Clinical Training Specialist in Syracuse, New York
Job Summary: Provides consistent day to day leadership and clinical expertise on the unit that drives customer service, quality, and the Patient Experience. Manages the orientation and on-boarding of new staff and the growth and development of current employees. Participates in the Clinical Advancement Program and is an active member of the unit leadership team. Experience consistent with specialty area preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a registered nurse in New York State and two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience in an acute care specialty area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Seeking a highly motivated RN with perioperative nursing experience preferred. Three years acute care experience preferred. Flexibility and Adaptability encouraged as this position will cover both PACU and Surgery Center
Work Days:
Full-time (1.0), Monday-Friday day shift with on call responsibilities
Salary Range/Pay Rate:
SG20- Based on experience + differential
