The Role:

We're looking for an exceptional people leader partner with our current Kit Room Team Lead in Arndell Park, NSW (free parking onsite).

A 'kit' contains the instruments and implants which we send out to surgeons to complete operations, and the Kit Room team work on assembling these quickly and accurately to have them sent out to hospitals.

This role would suit someone who has led teams of 6+ people in Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing, Med Tech, Pharma ... or anyone with strong leadership & problem-solving abilities who can optimise operating procedures, maximizing efficiency, and foster a collaborative and fun work environment.

Responsibilities:

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, while ensuring inventory management through regular audits.

This role has flexible hours - you can do morning/afternoon shifts (from 6am onwards) depending on your workstyle/lifestyle outside of work. There will be some occasional on-call work.

Duties will include:

  • Providing leadership, management and development specifically to the Kit Room Team

  • Ensuring the team meets or exceeds the service demands of internal and external customers.

  • Initiating, lead and drive initiatives and process improvements within Customer Service and the wider Operations division

  • Collaborating with other Stryker divisions to improve or re-engineer cross-divisional processes

  • Implementing productivity and efficiency improvements which minimise the requirement for the incumbent to perform daily customer service tasks

Role requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in a management role or similar capacity

  • Passion for leading and developing others

  • Highly developed customer service skills and ability to problem solve

  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with a diverse range of internal and external customers

  • Ability to work in a high technology environment (particularly JDE, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite)
