The Role

The Role

Reporting into the Shift Supervisor and working a 12hr rotating shift (6am- 6pm & 6pm-6am) the key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards

• Operating high speed machinery including:

• performing changeovers

• troubleshooting

• machine adjustments

• basic maintenance tasks

Key Responsibilities

• Attending to mechanical breakdowns on shift

• Reading & following SOP’s

• Contributing to our approach of continuous improvement and helping to achieve world class operational performance

When required:

• provide high level trouble shooting of process problems

• preventative maintenance tasks

• assist in necessary modifications

• technical assistance to reduce production equipment downtime and spoilage

• assist in machinery changeovers

• monitoring machinery and resolving issues

About You

What we are looking for

• Fitter qualification

• 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment

• Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills

• Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing

• Availability to work across 24hr rotating shift patterns
