Reporting to the Head of Digital and Technology, this role will lead, design and develop business solutions as per business strategy that are in alignment with enterprise architecture direction and standards.

About the role;

  • Build an effective and mutually beneficial relationship between the business lines and D&T, while developing strong internal and external collaborative networks to facilitate the achievement of mutual goals

  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence at a senior level, enable and assist in decision making that impacts the D&T team. Ensure any inter-related D&T considerations are being communicated

  • Provide key input and create long-term roadmaps or initiatives and designs.

  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.

  • Design high-level architectural specifications and ensure they integrate with existing systems and platforms. Oversee designing and tuning systems for scalability, performance, and high availability

  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business

  • Coach and mentor technical resources and team

About you:

  • 7+ years of IT experience in a large corporate environment at least 500+ users

  • Degree in computer science or relevant

  • Previous experience in implementing data driven applications and data models

  • Strong client orientation/customer service skills

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders

  • Enthusiastic champion of change and innovation

  • Experience working with offshore teams
