Google Performance Solutions Manager, Large Customer Sales in Sydney, Australia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6 years of experience in advertising sales, business development, marketing, consulting, or media.

  • Experience in digital advertising branding and performance solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience of consultative sales and account management (i.e. media agency sales).

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.

  • Analytical acumen and strategic thought leadership, with an agile mind set

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Performance Solutions Manager, you will focus on developing our performance business with a focus on our AI-powered performance solutions. To achieve this, you will work with our Product and Sales teams to turn product innovations into client solutions that enable our customers to get the most out of their investment with Google.

In this role, you will also partner with the Performance Specialist and Platforms teams to build the commercial strategy across our suite of products and be responsible for equipping sales teams with the required product knowledge to drive transformational outcomes. You will inspire and engage directly with clients to support the sales team in positioning Google as a key innovation partner for AI-first advertising. You will help transform the way Australian and New Zealand (AuNZ) companies connect with their customers.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Drive transformational media performance solutions by leveraging global best practice solutions and creation of '1-to-many' solutions.

  • Develop local, regional, and global partnerships with Google’s sales product, technology, and go-to-market (GTM) organizations to spur AUNZ innovation whilst exporting the best of AUNZ.

  • Develop and activate AuNZ strategy for scaling resources, tools, and processes.

  • Craft competitive perspectives and differentiated value propositions by generating market-relevant insights.

  • Support sales teams by engaging directly with prioritized clients and agencies as required to drive AI-powered performance adoption and client investments.
